PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 28, 2012 -
TOLEDO, Ohio, November, 28, 2012 – Since 1947, The Cherry Street Mission Ministries has provided food, clothing, emergency housing and transitional housing to those in need in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.  Presently they provide over 800 meals per day, and although the ministry’s resources are depleting, the Cherry Street Mission Ministries will never turn anyone away.  “It’s not in Cherry Street Mission Ministries DNA to turn people away. It goes against the core of our mission and existence," states Dan Rogers, Cherry Street Mission Ministries’ president and CEO.
After receiving a call asking for assistance, the Taylor Automotive Family has gladly partnered with the Cherry St. Mission Ministries.  Our goal is to help those in our community who are less fortunate this holiday season.  The Cherry Street Mission Ministries is in dire need of non-perishable food items for the upcoming winter months; currently the shelves are barren and they desperately need help from the local community.
Taylor Automotive has made a commitment to rally support from their own organization as well as the local community.  There are boxes to collect can foods at each of the Taylor Automotive Toledo area locations:  Taylor Kia on Central Avenue, Taylor Hyundai in Perrysburg, Taylor Cadillac on the Central Avenue strip as well as the Taylor Auto Used Car building located in front of Kia Toledo on Central Ave.
Please join in helping others in our community to have a better holiday season by dropping off your donations to the Cherry Street Mission Ministries or any Taylor Automotive location.  For more information on ways you can help the Cherry Street Mission Ministries, please visit www.CherryStMission.org.
